Live Photos on iPhone capture a few seconds of video and sound before and after you take a picture, adding movement to your photos. If you’d like to save a Live Photo as a video, here’s how you can do it:
1. Using iOS Photos App
Step 1: Open the Photos App
- Navigate to your Photos app and find the Live Photo that you want to convert.
Step 2: Open the Live Photo
- Tap on the Live Photo to open it in full-screen mode.
Step 3: Tap the Share Button
- Tap the Share button (a square icon with an upward arrow) in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Step 4: Choose “Save as Video”
- Scroll down through the options in the Share menu and select Save as Video.
- The Live Photo will now be saved as a video in your Camera Roll.
2. Using Shortcuts App (For Older iOS Versions)
If your iPhone does not have the “Save as Video” option directly in the Photos app, you can use the Shortcuts app to create a custom action:
Step 1: Open the Shortcuts App
- If you don’t have the Shortcuts app installed, download it from the App Store.
